My Diversions include: MUSIC – BREWING – DOGS – POSTERS

“Diversions” seems so appropriate. Plus, I hate the word “hobby”. It feels like such a cop out…there’s no commitment with a hobby, we just do them whenever we feel like it, like drinking, hot-tubing or social media. We don’t “need” hobbies. Unless the weather is a hobby, or is that a diversion?

But as “diversions”, they give us a purpose beyond our professional careers (work). In fact, my diversions usually lean on my work skills, even though I like to say they’re how I “wash off the work”:)
