REVIEW: Sennheiser EH-150 Evolution Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones

Bought these to use for digital tracking and couldn’t be happier. I’m usually skeptical when the cost for hi-fi is less than $100, but these really hit the mark and more for $40. The sound detail is all there, much like my Klipsch Custom-3 earphones I was using to track. I find these headphones work much better for timing on multitrack projects, specifically for vocl harmonies and are probably a little more accurate to loud speaker representation when mixing down. Would buy again if lost, stolen or eaten by one of my mutts (which is bound to happen, so low cost appreciated).

Details: $40 – 50. Very light weight. Fully enclosed, cover the entire ear and efficiently block out surrounding sound. They do not fold. Super comfy, easy to forget they’re on your head. Sound is excellent, full spectrum (18 Hz to 18 kHz). Comes with a 1/8” to 1/4” adapter making them versatile for several uses.
